Angkor Wat is the most famous temple among the Angkor ruins. This temple is the largest Hindu temple in the world. With her charming and incredible architecture, Angkor Wat always impresses visitors. The temple was built under the reign of god king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in honour of Vishnu, the god of protection.

Bayon Temple is famous for the 216 giant smiling faces of Buddha which were painstakingly sculptured in hard stone on all 54 towers of the temple. Bayon served as the main religious site for Buddhists during the 12th century. It was built under the reign of god king Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century and was dedicated to the religion of Buddhism.

Ta Prohm Temple is well known as Tomb Raider temple. It is really amazing that plenty of Spung trees crow on the structure of temple. Some of roots look a like octopus, python, elephant trunk, and a serpent’s body. You will be impressed by the stone temple with the nature. This temple was built by god king Jayavarman VII in late 12th century to dedicate to his mother. The temple served as a Buddhist monastery with over 2000 Buddhist monks resided in it.

Koh Ker Group
is a group of temples built by king Jayavarman IV in the first half of 10th century to dedicate to Hinduism. It is located 150 kilometer away from Siem Reap town. There were many big sandstone statues stored in those temples in the past.
Bakong Temple
is the first temple which was built in sandstones among over 3000 temples in Cambodia. This temple is located in Hariharalaya (current Rolous) where it served as the capital city of king Indravarman I in 9th century.
Banteay Srey Temple
is a unique pink sandstone temple. The temple is so famous for the intricate carvings of Hindu legends.
